Blue Orb Recruitment was set up at the start of 2014 and is part of the Blue Orb Group. Its founder and Chairman, Richard Melia has over 15 years experience in Engineering and 12 years experience in project and program management, delivering complex, international government contracts with values in the 100’s of millions.

He quickly established a presence within the project management market, giving both candidates and clients a view from their side of the tracks rather than a recruiters.

Richard then brought in Christian Shanahan, a seasoned recruitment professional, experienced in start ups and specialist industries where Human capital and innovation was at the heart of any success.

The company continues to grow and marries the talent of people from the recruitment industry with sector experts while at the same time taking new technology and old style networking and bringing them together to form the type of partnership you can imagine only brings success to the very best concepts.
